"Pepito" is the outcome of a failed experiment with polyurethane foam, due to a lack of experience in the use of the material. The foam melted and formed itself, the results are a lounge chair and a bowls, reflecting the beauty of failure. Painted in gold, playing on the cheapness of the material, looking like pure melted metal.
"Beth" is a material study in the context of furniture. The chair is entirely made out of canned material, with no understructure, pure foam, layered slowly to create these distinctive wrinkles.
