The "Fakir"-objects are the result of an experiment, trying to reinterpret conventional joints used for transparent materials. Here, material being polished acrylic glass, nails are heated using a modified soldering iron to melt them into the material. During the cooling period, the acrylic glass tightens, creating an extremely stable and clean bond, not to mention the aesthetic value of a brutal object such as a nail planted in an environment associated with fragility such as glass.
